Raney began writing for The Real World in 1992 and wrote over 3000 pieces of music for several Emmy winning shows. From 92-05 he wrote for over 50 shows and is recognized for shaping the sound of reality TV. Moving into film, his music laced two Sundance Festival winners "American Teen" and "Fuel". Most recently, he landed the highly coveted remake of the Fame Theme Song
